• Calypso Shirt by Farthest Point Casuals Added to Our Catalog

The Traveler Shirt from Farthest Point Casuals has proven so popular that we have introduced a second style, the Calypso Shirt. In place of the pintucks, the Calypso Shirt features two bands of fabric with an abstract fountain design.

  • We Are "Retiring" (Again) But the Web Catalog Continues On!

Our retail store is winding down in September, but our web catalog continues on. Closing our retail store will allow us to enjoy more time with family and friends, engage in other interests we have, and travel to places we have never visited before.

During this transition period, we are maintaining inventory on most best sellers while liquidating many old or discontinued styles. We will be adding new casual lifestyle and resort wear styles throughout the Fall. We have already selected four new styles from Dunes Relaxed Fashions that will be arriving in October. We are excited about this new phase of The Last Resort. So many of our customers were disappointed about our closing the retail store in Sisters, but were relieved to find that the web catalog continues. Many have asked where we are retiring to, and the answer is simple: the little Cascade Mountain community of Sisters will remain our home.

We have added a "Sale" button at the top right to help you browse the discontinued styles. In many cases, inventory is limited.

  • Why Casual Lifestyle Clothing?

Over 13 years of customer feedback has revealed that people face a few prevailing challenges when shopping for casual lifestyle clothing. Our goal is to provide a frustration-free experience so that you spend less time hunting for the right style and fit, and more time enjoying life.

Challenge #1: Finding the right sizes.
Manufacturers are not consistent in sizing garments, with up to a size difference between some styles! We include measurements in our product descriptions to help you make informed choices.

Challenge #2: Finding suitable casual apparel.
People want to be comfortable. The Last Resort started as Maui's original all-cotton store, and we continue to emphasize clothing in cotton, cotton gauze, and hemp.

    Challenge #3: Finding domestic products.
Our customers often mention that they are tired of the big box stores that import 99 percent of their products from far-away foreign countries. Most of our merchandise is manufactured in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Peru. Unfortunately, due to Federal restrictions, hemp continues to be largely outsourced.

We take great care to ensure you're outfitted in the fit and style that's perfect for the time and place. Don't hesitate to contact or visit us to discuss the best apparel choices for your needs.
